注意: International students are not eligible for admission to competitive health-related programs (nursing, 口腔卫生, 牙科协助, 外科手术技术, clinical lab technician or radiologic technology), the automotive technology programs or any one-year certificate program.
Here are the steps to apply to MCC as an international student:
- If you are applying for admission to multiple colleges/universities in the State University of New York (SUNY) system, 您可以填写并提交 纽约州立大学应用. There is a $50 application fee for the 纽约州立大学应用. You will be prompted to select 博彩网址大全 within the 纽约州立大学应用 from a list of campuses. If you are applying only to 博彩网址大全, please fill out and submit the 世纪挑战集团的应用. 没有申请费. It is recommended to apply by June 1 for fall admission, or November 15 for spring admission, to allow sufficient time for the F-1 visa process.
- Submit the following supporting documents:
- 高中成绩单: 提交你的 official high school transcripts (marks sheets, exam results, certificates). Photocopied transcripts are acceptable as long as they bear an original signature or certification from a school official. Transcripts must be in English and include proof of graduation or completion.
- 英语语言能力你必须乘火车 Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) if English is not your native or first language. We also accept the Duolingo English Test! MCC requires a minimum score of 55 on internet-based TOEFL, 5.5 band score on IELTS, or a minimum score of 80 on Duolingo to be considered for admission. To have your TOEFL test score sent to MCC, use school code 2429.
注意: Students who submit a TOEFL iBT score between 55-69, an IELTS score between 5.5-6.0, or Duolingo score between 80-95 will meet our Admission requirements to the College. However, students will be required to take an ESOL placement test upon arrival. These students may require ESOL support courses in addition to their academic program courses, but only for the first 1-2 semesters of study. Automatic placement into the ENG 101 College Composition course requires a minimum TOEFL iBT score of 70, 雅思成绩不低于6分.5, or a minimum Duolingo score of 100.
- 财务文档: Submit official bank statements showing availability of sufficient funds to pay for at least one year of study AND if supported by a sponsor, 一个完整的 SUNY 国际学生 Financial Statement signed and stamped by your sponsor's bank and sponsor. The proof of financial support is required of all F-1 applicants seeking a Certificate of Visa Eligibility (Form I-20). The statements should be current, official and written in English.

- College transcripts (if applicable): Submit official transcripts of all post-secondary coursework. If you wish to transfer foreign college credit to MCC, you must use a credential evaluation service such as 世界教育服务(WES).

Below is a list of estimated annual expenses, which is used to determine how much you or your financial sponsor will need to demonstrate that you have available to fund your education at MCC:

As an international student, you are required by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security agency to provide documented evidence of your financial resources for the first full academic year (9 months/2 semesters) before MCC can issue the Form I-20 (Certificate of Eligibility for F-1 student visa).
For any student who wishes to have a dependent family member accompany them to the U.S., you must demonstrate additional financial support in the amount of $3,500 for dependent child and/or $7,配偶∶000.
Bills for tuition and fees are created at the time of class 登记 each semester (fall and spring) and payment 指令 will be included with your bill. Please make your payments directly to MCC’s Student Accounts Office.
After you are accepted and have submitted all necessary financial documents, you will receive your Form I-20 from MCC by email with further 指令 for next steps. You will also receive 指令 for setting up your student network account. This account will allow you to use on-campus computers and access the myMCC Portal where you can view your student records, 注册课程, and access a variety of MCC online services. This account must be activated prior to your advisement & 登记.
注意: You must activate your network account before you can apply for on-campus housing.
You’ll need to pay the SEVIS I901 Fee, 申请学生签证, 安排签证面谈, book travel and complete other tasks before you enter and study in the United States.
Here’s a list of what you need to do after your acceptance to MCC:

When you arrive in Rochester you’ll need to arrange for your own transportation to your residence hall or apartment. Taxis are available at the airport and train and bus stations. There are also rideshare services (such as Uber and Lyft) available around Rochester.
Here’s what you’ll do in your first few days at MCC:
- Move into your MCC residence hall or off-campus apartment
- Attend international student orientation
